Outpatient Practice in San Luis Obispo, CA
W-2 Position | Earn Up to $200,000/Year | In-Office
We are a growing outpatient psychiatric practice located in beautiful San Luis Obispo, California, seeking a dedicated and compassionate mid-level provider to join our team. This W-2 position is ideal for either:
- A Physician Assistant (PA-C) with Certification of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Psychiatry
-OR- - A Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Position Highlights:
- Base salary with earning potential of $200,000/year.
- Supervision by a psychiatrist and dedicated support staff provided.
- We offer alternative treatments other than traditional psychiatric medications.
- Focus on high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care and integrative medicine.
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted California license
- National certification (PA-C or PMHNP)
- DEA license
- Prior psychiatric experience preferred but not required
- CAQ in Psychiatry (for PAs) preferred but not required
- Must be able to work in-office 4 days per week
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care for a diverse outpatient population.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated mental health care.
- Maintain thorough documentation and uphold standards of care.
